The Community Care Project (CCP) is a Faith-Based Organisation and is seeking to recruit short-term staff to strengthen positions in the organisation to ensure achievement of set outcomes. Posts are contracts up to the end of September 2019. Depending on performance in meeting set targets, there will be a possibility for re-engagement. Recent and previous work or training in USAID OVC programmes will be an added advantage. All applying will be required to produce a Police Clearance Certificate for working with children. Candidates applying must be residents of eThekwini as the work is within the eThekwini Municipality. Candidates who possess a driver’s license and are able to drive will be given priority.

  • Facilitator for Health Support Services

    Position for applicants who are CCGs, Lay Counsellors or Child and Youth Care Workers, who are qualified to do HIV Testing and with practical experience. Candidates must have experience in working with Children (0-17 years) who are living with HIV.

  • Social Services Co-ordinator

    Position for a Registered Social Worker with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the NGO/FBO sector and is conversant with working in the eThekwini community.

  • School Facilitator

    Position for Community Worker/Child and Youth Care worker with Schools Facilitation experience in USAID programmes such as Vhutshilo; Let’s Talk; Child Protection – Thogomelo; ASPIRES – Financial Capability, Entrepreneurship and Employability; and GBV – Stepping Stones.
